150mm Plastic Hatch Kit

Have you lost your hatch cover?

This is a complete Hatch and Rim Kit.

It is a bayonet style and can’t cross-thread like other kinds of hatches and is generally easier to open than standard thread hatches which can jam.  We recommend (even if it is not necessary) replacing the rim at the same time as the hatch cover (if convenient).

The hatch cover and rim are 19.5cm wide (for a 15cm diameter opening).
There are 8 screw holes - 17.5cm diameter across between two screw hole centres.

The kit includes 8 x nylon screws and thumb nuts for installation and a precut lanyard to ensure the lid is not lost (if installed).

With a full install we recommend a bead of Selleys All Clear between the hatch and the kayak prior to attaching with the thumb screws.
